The fundation courses include:

  • Introduction to Chinese philosophy and thought (only for BCom Asia students)

Business Administration:

Economics applied to global markets:

  • Micro and macro economics

Law:

ICT - Information and Communication Technologies :

  • IT for managers

Commercial language courses:

  • English, Italian, Spanish, German or Standard Mandarin (only for BCom Asia students)

Business projects:

  • Alpha project – discovery the company
  • Lao tseu project: Asian markets

Year 2: operational skills

General Culture:

  • Major "Business cultures and behaviours"
  • Plagiarism / information protection and copyright
  • Informative writing
  • Writing reports
  • Geopolitics
  • Chinese Economic Policy (only for BCom Asia students)

Business Administration:

  • International trade
  • Sales and negotiation techniques
  • Marketing
  • Statistical methods and decision-making
  • Media planning and sales promotion
  • General and financial accounting
  • Corporate finance (financial diagnostics and cash flow)
  • Understanding Asian markets
  • Understanding the Chinese market

Law:

  • International business law

ICT - Information and Communication Technologies:

  • Managing IT systems

Management:

  • Introduction to management
  • Project management
  • Resource management (GB)
  • Recruitment techniques

Commercial language courses:

Year 4: Decision-making skills and tools

  • Overseas : The students attend courses in Trade, Business Administration and Management

A highly original and professional final year

The 4th year programme consists in a trunk course made up of modules and a choice of Elective courses.

What is an Elective?

An elective is based on a system of alternating sessions: theoretical courses taught by a full professor from the EIM and seminars taught by national and international experts. Each elective course represents 60 hours of classes.

Organised in 4 modules, each with 20 hours of classes, electives are based on system of alternating sessions: theoretical courses taught by a full professor from the EIM and seminars taught by national and international experts

The EIM offers a choice of 4 different electives:

  • Human Resources
  • Finance
  • Marketing
  • Logistics - Procurement

Students can choose modules within one or more electives, according to their interest in a particular sector or job, for a total of 60 hours of classes.

The student designs his own training programme, according to his personal career path, with the help of his pedagogical advisor.
