Group Sup de Co Montpellier Accredited AACSB

Worldwide academic recognition for the Montpellier Business School which joins the prestigious club of the 14 French Grandes Écoles of Business Management accredited AACSB.

The Group Sup de Co Montpellier is delighted to announce its AACSB accreditation which rewards the academic quality of all its programmes (Master Grande Ecole - ESC Montpellier, Bachelor EIM, MBA) and activities. The AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation represents the symbol of excellence of the best management education. Less than 5% of business schools worldwide have obtained this recognition. The very severe accreditation attribution criteria are concentrated on a solid demonstration of a long-term coherence between the vision and the mission of the group, its values and the complete set of institutional activities linked to the academic world, notably by a high quality pedagogical environment, an effort to continually improve and a capacity to dynamically adapt the programme content to the requirements of the markets.
A demanding process that the Montpellier Business School has been able to satisfy, as confirms Terry Trapnell, AASCB Executive Vice President and chief accreditation officer of AACSB International:  "It takes a great deal of self evaluation and determination to earn AACSB accreditation, and I recommend Sup de Co Montpellier for its dedication to management education, as well as its leadership in the community. Through accreditation, the Montpellier Business School has not only met specific standards of excellence, but has also made a commitment to ongoing improvement to ensurethat the institution will continue to deliver high quality education to its students."

For Didier Jourdan, Dean of Montpellier Business School, obtaining this accreditation validates the coherence of a strategy driven over almost 10 years : « In a globalised economy, made of rapid changes, for which we prepare our students, it has become essential to guarantee the sustainable quality of our teaching and research activities as well as their international visibility. Obtaining the label AACSB is proof of our group's satisfaction of these requirements. »
Over the last years, the commitment to quality of the Montpellier Business School has widely contributed to the strengthening of its teaching methods and its values (ethics, open-mindedness and diversity, entrepreneurship, global responsibility and performance) and to our obtaining this prestigious international standard. For Didier Jourdan: « We are proud that the development choices that we have worked upon over the long term have been recognised by the AACSB, whose experience and planetary aura constitute the worldwide reference. »

Being “AACSB accredited” means a lot to the education and business communities.
For the students, the AACSB accreditation guarantees constantly evolving programmes that ensure their perfect correspondance to the market requirements, proves that the programmes are taught by a highly qualified teaching staff, ensures international recognition of the diplomas obtained, in phase with international standards.
For the enterprises, the AACSB accreditation confirms the quality of the diplomas issued by the Group, and guarantees that the courses followed by the graduate correspond perfectly to the requirements of an economic environment constantly more complex.
For the graduates, the AACSB accreditation confirms the value of the diploma.
